Dr. Emily Bourque earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Georgia in 2022 before heading to the Midwest to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian.
She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University in 2026, where she developed a strong foundation in small animal medicine. Along the way, she gained valuable experience through externships, research projects, and study abroad opportunities in Guatemala.
Her professional interests include preventive medicine, small animal surgery, and dermatology. She is passionate about building lasting relationships with pets and their families by providing compassionate, high-quality care tailored to each patient's needs.
As a Georgia native, Dr. Bourque loves cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs during football season. Outside the clinic, she enjoys running, going to concerts, watching movies, and exploring Nashville with friends.
